A powerful spirit mage, Emily holds the title of Soulbender among her people, but her connection with the unseen world has disconnected her from the physical world. Prone to hallucinations and fever dreams, Emily still manages to find trouble, and make trouble, on her own.
Her decision to return to the Mansion is still under great debate among her relatives and probably will be for the next few decades. She didn't want to wait that long to come back.


Emily suffers from the Living Dead syndrome, a collection of symptoms that generally means her soul is slowly slipping out of her body and into the Unseen World. A common sight among those who find themselves venturing as a bridge between the unseen world and the physical one, Emily knows that she's a bit more fragile than most when it comes to magical things. While this does concern her, Emily tries not to let her incurable problem get in the way of helping others out. The side-affects of the syndrome include headaches, hallucinations and hearing voices. She gets bit grouchy when suffering from these and has little control over them, so don't freak out if she's nice one day and mean the next.

Personality:
Humorous and kind, Emily loves a good clean prank. While she's quick on her feet and great when it comes to problem solving, Riddles and puzzles best her more often than she bests them.
She hates hurting other people a will go out of her way, and into certain doom, for her friends. She has difficulty putting up with those who hurt others for enjoyment or needlessly.

Ever the adventurer, Emily has countless tales of her duking it out with dragons, outsmarting sphinxes and outrunning everything. She enjoys sharing these tales but has never been beyond making them a bit more exciting (or making them up completely). Her greatest fear is that her condition will eventually render her incapable of going exploring and having new adventures.

~Emily was mostly raised by her human father and spent most of her life as an 'average' student. (Sage is her father's surname)
~She doesn't get along with her mother's side of the family and often wishes them dead or incapacitated horribly.
~She participated in Track, running long distance and dashes, setting more than a few records.
~She has terrible luck when it comes to boyfriends.
~Her first boyfriend died mysteriously and tends to follow her around. She got into her current profession looking for a way to get rid of him.
