Description

Sometimes you get a project into your head and you jump at making that project a reality. Then you make something awesome. You're happy you made it, happy that you got started so quickly.

Sometimes you get a project into your head and you jump at making that project a reality. They you make something that is substandard. You're upset that it came out wrong, betrayed by your lack of planning. 

This piece fits into the later category for me. While it is still good, it is not something that I am proud to show off. I look at it and am reminded that taking the time to plan and learn always yields better results, no matter the piece you work on.

As someone who was exposed to this project cold, and has no idea what you were picturing when you started it, I'll say that this is dang good. I love the personality in its eyes, the gold embellishments, and the darker accents in the purple. It may not be up to the standard you set in your head, but speaking as someone who's seeing it simply for what it is and not what, in your head, it "should have been," I'm telling you right now that this piece is a success. Not just a "pretty good" one, either.
